Nicole Aandahl

Nicole Breland Aandahl is a strategic legal executive with over two decades of experience providing counsel, compliance oversight, and risk management in the aerospace and defense sector. Her demonstrated success in leading compliance teams, developing and implementing robust compliance programs, and ensuring adherence to U.S. and international laws and regulations spans government, industry, law practice, and nonprofits. Her expertise includes governance, internal audit, litigation, employment law, contract negotiation, and risk mitigation. She most recently served as the Center for Strategic and International Studies’ first General Counsel. An author and Cold War scholar, she is a featured speaker and guest at universities such as Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. Nicole serves on several nonprofit boards, including the University of Pittsburgh School of Law Board of Visitors.
